My Valentine

I've known my Valentine for more than 10 years. We started dating back in November of '99. I married the love of my life on July 26th, 2003, five-and-a-half years ago.

It's crazy, I know, but after reluctantly agreeing to our first date, I knew there was something special about Craig. As cliche as it is, after that first date, I believed he was God-given and I would marry him someday.

Craig is God-loving, a devoted husband, a dedicated father, my Mr. Fix-it, a natural athlete, tidy, supportive, and so much more! I love and appreciate all of him.

I'm so grateful for the man that is my best friend and soul mate.

From Scooter to Walker

Ever since Ella first started getting around, she started scooting. On a rare occasion, she would crawl "normally," but she preferred to scoot. She perfected the scoot to enable her to carry things in her left hand as she moved from point A to point B. She also became quite speedy in scooting around, hence our nickname for her, Scooter.

What's new with Ella?

She's walking!

Last Thursday, January 29th, she started practicing how to stand up on her own. Later that evening after Craig got home from work, she took off! She's so proud of herself and giggles when she falls. It's so cute!

I'll post a video soon. Sadly, my camera dropped out of my bag at Brian and Amy's house last weekend. Apparently, as I leaned into the car to buckle Ella in her car seat, the camera fell onto the road. Tragically, somebody, who could have been us, ran over it! Thankfully, the memory card and battery are still salvagable. I should be able to post a video in the next few days.

Sadly, I won't be taking pictures until we get our camera replaced. It stinks to be in the market for a new camera again, especially since we just bought that one less than a year ago!
